A superbill is a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. It includes the necessary information, such as service details and provider credentials, to help you get reimbursed for out-of-network care. I will provide you with a superbill after your session—just submit it to your insurance to see if they’ll cover part of the cost!

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask some questions about what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you’d like to work on. It’s also a time for you to share any questions or concerns you have about the process. Think of it as a conversation where we explore whether we’re a good fit and begin shaping your goals together. Many clients leave the first session feeling relieved to have taken the first step.

People often come to therapy when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, or simply want support in navigating life’s challenges. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit — therapy can help with stress, relationships, personal growth, or gaining new coping tools. If you’re curious, that’s usually a sign it could be helpful. We’ll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
